Arthur and Helen Coghlan have been offering people joy in the form of magic for over 50 years now. With the joint love they share for their craft, their enjoyment is contagious.
Arthur Coghlan himself has performed in more or less 10,000 shows in his lifetime. By successfully designing and building his own illusions, he has become a much sought-after consultant and advisor, too. He was even recognised as the Greatest Escape Artist Australia has ever known and awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) in June 2021.
Meanwhile, his daughter Helen Coghlan has had many feats of her own. She’s the first woman worldwide to perform Houdini’s last escape, and is also the world’s first person to fool globally-renowned magicians Penn & Teller thrice. She did so on the Penn & Teller: Fool Us TV show, filmed in Las Vegas, in June 2020.
