Margaret Maile Petty studied to be a historian. Pursuing knowledge and opportunity as they come, she has become an expert in her field unexpectedly. Art and design have shaped her life, while innovation helped her live for others.

Margaret Maile Petty spent her childhood moving from one place to the next. It is during those years that she cultivated a resilience to–and even a hunger for–change. With a pragmatic father and an empathetic mother, Margaret also learned to create balance in her life.

Drawn to the arts at an early age, Margaret pursued a career in art and design history. Achieving a doctorate degree is something she neither expected nor intended. Margaret was just really open to life and always sought out what lies beyond what she can grasp.

Her receptiveness and curiosity make her a great champion for innovation. She welcomes ideas and finds new ways to transform products, services and experiences. Her lightness and natural inclination towards joy also attracts a team of creatives that help her fulfil her vision.
