What are some strategies to become more innovative?

- Put it into practice.
Strategies to Become More Innovative
Sparking innovation comes in 2 parts: mindset and practice. In today’s TIPS, Margriet Buseman of Orange Minds shares some strategies to become more innovative.
First, you need to develop a good mindset. Curiosity is what’s most necessary to be innovative. Ignite your child-like wonder and playfulness. Experiment and explore. Living in Australia, you have plenty of spaces and opportunities to free your mind. This is how you understand the world from a new perspective and how you can come up with innovative solutions.
Putting this mindset into practice comes next. To become more creative, you need to look outside and be inspired by what others are doing. Gather creative ideas from other companies’ and industries’ solutions and innovations. Be as visual and explicit as possible in exploring these inspirations. You can also practice putting yourself in someone else’s shoes, from Obama to a 5-year-old. Reframe the situation based on that character’s mindset to see a different approach.
These are some great strategies to become more innovative through mindset and practice. We hope you learned something new with us today.
