Never stop selling, and just believe. In this episode of TIPS, leadership guru Chester Elton shares some negotiation and sales tips for entrepreneurs.
The fact of the matter is, everybody sells. Whether we’re trying to get a big cut or seeking to get hired, we are selling. So, especially as an entrepreneur, you should never stop selling. Be mindful of how people experience you, all the time. This is a negotiation and sales tip you can embody.
The next thing you need to do is believe: in your product and in yourself. You need to believe that your product is making lives better. That’s the point of it all, right? You are solving a problem with your offering. So, have faith that what you do matters. Be all in.
As a person, believe that you are worth it. When you do, people feel it. Everyone loves to buy from people who are passionate. This energy increases your engagement. It allows you to problem-solve better. Ultimately, you overcome obstacles when you believe that what you do is important.
