Key Elements for Building A Strong Personal Brand
Self-compassion, empathy and trust are the key elements for building a strong personal brand. In this episode of TIPS, we talk to Lauren Kress about the 3 essential traits of a genuine and successful personal brand. This interview is helpful for entrepreneurs living in Australia or anywhere else in the world.
Self-compassion is an act of introspection. It is looking inside ourselves, getting to know and accepting who we are. Some questions you may want to ask yourself include: Who am I? What are my strengths and weaknesses? What do I love to do? What tools do I have? How do I want to develop and grow as a person? It is important to stick with what you’re truly good at and what you like to do. Make sure what you want aligns with your skills and not anyone else’s.
Another key element for building a strong personal brand is empathy. Empathy in branding means getting to know who you want to communicate with. You can engage well with others when you nourish your reputation well. People respond to those who are similar to them. The ones who talk the way they talk, share their desires and fears, and so on. You need to understand your audience. Engage with them by creating relevant content. Make it emotional, as well. Make people care and be remembered for your heart.
The final key element for building a strong personal brand is trust. Deliver what you promise. Respect other’s time. Keep in mind that even the little things matter. Branding is creating trust. Strong and respectful partnerships are generated from being trustworthy and steadfast.
These are the key elements for building a strong personal brand. We hope this inspires you to understand yourself better to create a genuine product and service. Best of luck!
