Growing up in Melbourne, Anthea Loucas Bosha was exposed to Australian culture combined with her Greek heritage. Her parents encouraged her confidence and she took pride in her uniqueness. Food was also a huge part of their culture, which she did not foresee would play an even bigger part in her success.
She originally wanted to be a sportswriter, but opportunities came her way in the world of fashion. She created plenty of lifestyle pieces during her time working in newspapers. In 2003, she was recruited as a young editor for Gourmet Traveller. This is where she made a name for herself in the industry.
Anthea’s tenacity coupled with a wonderful network of peers and mentors drove her career forward. Her curiosity as a journalist made her stand out, but it is her respect for others and wonderful work ethic that makes her truly exceptional. Anthea is a decisive leader who values her team’s contributions. To her, success means creating spaces for everyone to thrive.
